And God Separated the Waters from the Sky and Land

How do you bring this to home in order to teach your children about creation? It was an interesting task, but that was enjoyed greatly by my children.
This was serenity and I cannot help but think how it sounded when God first created it. Unadulterated by pollutions of sound, people and garbage. The sound must have been complete tranquility.

Although we could not hear the sounds of the waves breaking the shore, my children were able to explore some seashell ridden sand in the comforts of my home.

There were so many shells to look at and explore.

The textures were so numerous. The different shapes sparked their imaginations.

The sand was soft to touch. But when you zoomed in on it with the camera, the children observed how they were feel teeny, tiny rocks.

Even the smallest of shells looked big in the camera.

The children were able to observe things using the camera that they couldn't see well with their eyes.

This horseshoe crab appeared scary to a few. The spiny spikes were pointy and sharp.

This was a great opportunity to discuss creation as the children looked at the variety of shells.

Please enjoy the rest of our pictures. We will be gluing sand to a piece of paper followed up with some tiny shells.

We will be using cotton balls to make waves and clouds.

In three days, God created the heavens and earth...

Day and Night...

Oceans, seas and land.

How awesome it is to go back and see what God made hundreds of thousands of years ago.

God created life. He created humans to appreciate all he created. He created our children and made us parents. What a privileged it is to be able to enjoy some of His wonderful creation and reminisce on how it must have been when it was first made and all brand new.
